An iPhone or iPad (running at least iOS 12), using Safari

Set the Stage

Your home (or any other private space) is likely your best option for both a stable internet connection and the best environment for your interview. Choose a plain background by positioning yourself in front of a wall or door. Make sure that your environment is well lit, quiet, and free of background movement.

Pause any significant upload or download activities on your network to ensure a stable internet connection for your video interview. Ask your house mate to pause their movie binge until you’ve finished your interview. If you typically experience network connectivity issues, consider doing your interview early in the morning, when network speeds are fastest.
